History also shows that the Arfed
Humanity Mission and the King Crine Political Committee, during their assignments
to the Middle East, held their important meetings in the municipality of
Ainab.

One of Ainab's famous locals is Dr. Samir Al- Shaar, who made
medical breakthroughs in the name of humanity, precisely in the field of
artificial Hearts and Kidneys. Another very prominent figure is Mr.
Kamil Nawfal, who was an interpreter and a consultant to five presidents
who ruled the United States alternatively. Furthermore, many important
poets and authors whose books reached number one positions in distribution
were also part of Ainab's famous locals.
Ainab has a hotel that was
recently reconstructed and is administrated by the Saint Coeur Nuns. This
hotel attracts those who seek mental and spiritual harmony. Another hotel,
which has been newly built, will open its doors early next summer.
Ainab also has two restaurants,
"Rawabina", which is run privately and has a playground to keep children
entertained, and "Ain Restaurant". Ainab also has a number of shops and
commercial companies that provide villagers and tourists with all the necessities
they desire. Ainab also has a private gymnastic club known as the "Safa
Club."

Ainab is classified as a
tourist village and the current municipality board forbids the establishments
of factories that could cause disruptive noise or excessive population.

Ainab is considered as one
of the first villages that established a municipality board, which was
in the late 19th century.
