Major achievements carried 
out by the current municipality board include:
  • Reconstructing and re-opening the of municipality center on October 4, 1998.
  • Since the beginning of the scholastic year, the municipality has provided additional rooms and scholastic supplies to Ainab's Public School.
  • A wide campaign of planting trees along Ainab's main street is being implemented to enhance the beauty of the village.
  • Reconstructing sewerage and water pipes.
  • Setting up electrical decorations on various special occasions, which is sponsored by commercial companies.
  • Rebuilding and setting up of two water tanks, which will hold drinking water.
  • Obtaining a license for building a large public hall, a library, and a gymnastic club.
  • Placing traffic and pedestrian signs on the roadside.
  • Pursuing those who breach the law and also collecting taxes.
  • Providing a car equipped with a louder speaker and an ambulance for all village purposes and emergencies. 
  • Pesticide spraying throughout last year's summer season.
  • Following the invitation from Ainab Municipality's mayor Mr. Fouad Shaar, Ainab Municipality honored Mr. Kamil Nawfal, a native of Ainab who lived in the United States for some time and returned to Lebanon. During Mr. Nawfal's stay in the United States, he was a translator and consultant to five American presidents. The honorary ceremony, which was attended by many prominent figures, was a large success. 




 

  • On Sunday May 16th, the Municipality of Ainab, in collaboration with Sukleen, the main garbage collector in Lebanon, organized the "Ainab Cleanliness Week" where all the villagers and political parties participated in cleaning the main and inner roads and surroundings of Ainab for an entire week, working for a better and cleaner environment.
